    (注意)happen还可译为"碰巧",后接不定式(一般式、进行式、完成式)或从句用作此意时,不能用进行时.
    they happened to be having lunch when we got there..  我们到那儿时,他们碰巧正在吃午饭
    i happened to have read the book thev referred to.    我碰巧读过他们提到的那本书
    it so happened that the famous actor was her brother.    那个有名的演员碰巧是她的哥哥

    (1)v. 打,击
    strike sb. on the+身体部位,"打某人的某处".

    the boat struck ( on ) a rock.  小船触礁了
    strike a match划火柴
    (3) v. 给…..以印象;打动(常用被动);感劝

    4. manage v.
    (1)"设法对付、处理、应付",常与can、could连用,后接名词或不定式。
    the repair is difficult,but i can manage it.    修理起来虽不容易,但我能设法修好
    we managed to get what we wanted.    我们设法得(买)到了我们想要的东西。
    i have to manage with ten dollars till payday.    我必须用10美元支撑到发薪水的日子、

    (3)作不及物动词时,可译为"能办到,设法解决"等。
    it's heavy,but i can manage(to carry it).
    他很重,但我能(搬动):
    he managed to get the work done with little help.
    他在没有什么帮助的情况下设法完成了工作。
    5. experience v. & n.
    (1)v.意为"经验,体验",为及物动词,后常接名词或代词作宾语。
    have you ever experienced real hunger?
    你体验过真正的饥俄吗?
    our country has experienced great changes in the past ten vears.
    在过去的十年里,我们的国家经历了巨大的变化
    (2)n.[c]意为",经历,经历的事"。
    a common experience共同的经历
    childhood experience儿时的经历
    i had an unusual experience.我有一段不寻常的经历。
    experience 用作不可数名词,意为"经验,体验"。其后常跟介词in.
    she has no experience in cooking.
    她没有下厨房的经验
    i know it from experience.我根据经验了解此事
    ( 3 ) experience的形容词形式是experienced,意为
