一、教学目标
1、认知目标
a.能听、说、读、写四个四会单词big , small , long , short.
b.能听、说、认读句子the…is too… , try this one on,并能用其进行对话。
2、能力目标
能在实际情景中正确运用以上单词、句子。
3、情感目标
能在学英语、用的过程中,学会审美与助人,并且培养的合作与竞争意识。
二、教学重难点
能掌握big small long short四个四会单词,并能认读the…is too… , try this one on.句型,进行对话练习。
三、教学准备
动物头饰、不合身的衣服、动物图片、磁带等。
四、教学过程
a、warming up.
1、greetings. (ss—t)
ss: good morning. / how are you? / nice to see you.
2、free talk. (sa,b,c---t)
sa: hello. / what’s this in english? / what’s in the box? / this apple is for you.
sb: mr yu, let’s sing a song. “hello, how are you”, ok?
sc: mryu, what’s this? (汪汪汪) what’s that?(一个背对大家学小兔子跳)
sd: hi, mr yu. may i say a rhyme for you? ……
设计意图:由学生向老师问候、给老师猜谜、与对话、向同学们表演节目等,拉近了师生之间的距离,打破了传统教学中师生一问一答的枯燥形式,真正把课堂的时间和空间让给学生,营造了浓厚的英语氛围,激起了学生的兴趣,引导乐于用开口说话。
b、presentation and practice.
1、向引见四位穿着打扮奇异的新朋友,david, mike, helen, nancy。(四位朋友分别穿着特大的外套、特小的茄克衫、过长的连衣裙、过短的短裙),由新朋友自我介绍,与同学们互相问候。
设计意图:见到新朋友,情绪高涨,对他们的穿着打扮充满好奇心,为新课的教学埋下伏笔。
sing a song: “if you are happy”(表演唱)
设计意图:看见新朋友的愉悦心情,通过一首轻松活泼带有表演性质的歌曲表达出来,活跃了课堂气氛,并使的情感得到了充分的体现。
2、teaching the words.
say a rhyme.
t: (显示图片) 小猪胖胖 fat, fat, fat 小猴瘦瘦 thin, thin, thin马儿高高 tall, tall, tall 小羊矮矮 short, short, short
( ss say it together.)
t: (显示图片) class, look at this picture. what’s this in english?
ss: it’s an elephant.
t: good. let’s talk about the elephant using the words “big, small, long, short”. (出示单词卡片) please think it over.
sa: 身体大大big, big, big
sb: 眼睛小小small, small, small
sc: 鼻子长长long, long, long
sd: 尾巴短短short, short, short
设计意图:rhyme语言精练,节奏感强,形象生动,简单易记,深受儿童的喜爱。我抓住rhyme这一独特的形式和风格,用其促教促学,寓教于乐,得到了很好的教学效果。
t: ok, today we’ll learn how to write these words.
(t示范教学big 的书写,sa充当小教学small的书写,小组内完成long、short的书写。最快最好的小组将获“最佳合作奖”。)
设计意图:通过形式多样的教学方式,体现了学生在这一活动中的主体地位,贯彻了以发展为本的教学新理念;同时采用小组合作方式,以优带差,共同促进。
3、teaching the sentence “the … is too … .”
“捉迷藏”游戏:
t: excuse me . i can’t find david. he is wearing a coat. the coat is too big.
ss:(穿插chant)david, david, can’t see david.
find, find, let’s find.
david, where are you?
david: hi, i’m here.
(同法找出mike, helen, nancy.)
t: look at their clothes: the coat is too big. the jacket is too small. the dress is too long. the skirt is too short.
using the things on your desks, say like this “the … is too… .”(出示句子卡片)
“脱口秀”游戏:
(听音乐传衣服,当停止,利用句型“the … is too … .”来描述手中的衣服,以此来巩固操练句型。)
4、teaching the sentence “try this one on .”
t: david , come here , please . the coat is too big . do you like a new one ?
david: yes.
t: try this one on . (帮david重新换一件外套)oh, you’re smart.
david: thank you.
t: try this one on . (出示句子卡片)
“组内接龙”游戏:
(根据身着的衣服,利用两个新句型,采用小组内开火车形式,展开谈论。如:the coat is too big try this one on .)
