do you know the name "qian zhijun"? no? but many of you know "xiao pang" (little fatty).

the 19-year-old boy studies at a vocational (职业的) school in shanghai. four years ago he attended a school activity. someone took his photo as he glanced (一瞥) sideways.

internet fame

because of his funny expression (表情), the photo soon started a craze on the internet. people used his face to practice photoshop. they put qian's face on the bodies of famous people and called him "xiao pang".

his face can be found on the bodies of harry potter, jackie chan, jia baoyu and even the mona lisa.

half a year later, qian was shocked (震惊的) to see the photos online at an internet cafe. "it was as if i was hit by a thunderbolt (霹雳). i felt really embarrassed and i left."

qian's mother said he should sue (控告), but he doesn't know who took the photo. his teachers and classmates seldom talked about it to avoid (避免) hurting his feelings.

kind fans

however, after feeling upset at first, qian began to notice that people were laughing in a kind way. some people told qian he is very cute.

he then decided to make the best of the situation. "i have tried to turn sadness into strength (力量). at least this makes people smile," he said.

qian said he doesn't like the pictures of his head on naked (裸露的) women or on buddha (佛).

"i like it when they put me on the bodies of heroes, such as russell crowe in the movie 'gladiator'," he said.

qian is trying to start a career as an entertainer and has been interviewed by reporters. he started a blog and posted lots of new funny pictures.

qian hopes to become a television chef. "i would like to teach people how to cook well and eat better."
