一、教学内容
1．词汇（略）。
2．句型： 1）----when were you born?----i was born on february 18, 1981. 2）----how long did you live there?----we lived there for about five years.
3．语法：初步学习行为动词在一般过去时中的用法。
二、教具
录音机；模仿本课地图绘制的简图。
三、课堂教学设计
1．复习值日生报告。
2．教师通过如下演示，引出本课所学内容和部分生词：
t：（叫起一名同学） hello! ×××, may i ask you a question?
重复两遍，启发大家猜测question这个词的词义。帮助这位同学答出：
s1： certainly.
t： how old are you?
s1： i'm fourteen.
t： you're fourteen. so you were born in…（以当年减去 14年，用说出这个同学出生的年份）。
2）抄写生词，书面回答课文问题。
3）完成练习册习题Ⅰ（其他习题下次布置）。
四、难点讲解
1．when were you born? 你什么时候出生？
动词短语 be born表示“出生”，这个短语通常用过去时态。讲述自己的出生日期时，前面要加上介词on。例如：
i was born on february 27th, 1960. 我在1960年 2月 27日出生。
2．----how long did you live there? 你们在那里住了多久？
----we lived there for about five years. 我们在那里住了大约有5年。
介词for的意思是“累计；长达”，与表示一段时间的短语连用，说明动作持续的时间。例如：
he watched tv for three hours yesterday evening. 昨晚他看了三小时电视。
3．are you enjoying living in china? 你们喜欢住在中国吗？
enjoy doing sth. 表示“喜欢做某事”；“享受做某事的乐趣”。例如：
mr green enjoys swimming. 格林先生喜欢游泳。
