 indonesia on monday advanced into the semifinals of the tiger cup 2004 soccer tournament after whitewashing underdogs cambodia 8-0, while singapore thrashed laos6-2.

 singapore will play its last match with cambodia on wednesday, while laos face hosts vietnam. if winning over cambodia, singaporewill finish second in group a with 8 points and secure a berth at semifinals.

 if cambodia tie singapore with a draw, and vietnam, which now has four points, beat laos, the hosts will advance into the finals.semifinals and finals, to be played on a home and away format, areto take place between dec. 28, 2004 and jan. 15, 2005.
