书面表达

do “ lucky numbers” really bring good luck?

my friend mary was born on june 13, 1986. she is always dissatisfied with her birthday because 13 is a bad number. a lot of people believed good numbers bring good luck and bad numbers bring disaster. so, 13,4 and other “ bad ” numbers are wiped off from cards, lists, menus, etc.
i think numbers have noting to do with luck. numbers are created for counting. there is no relationship between a certain number and one’s fate. there are many people who succeed in spite of “ close relationship ” to bad numbers. there are also a lot of people, who should have been blessed by “ lucky ” numbers, involved in accidents. take my friend mary for example, she achieved a good study at many tests and got good reputation in her career.
in a word, numbers are numbers. they stand for nothing. numbers have nothing to do with luck.

then i pushed a button and sent the bottles to another worker. at lunch,my boss asked me to buy him a sandwich. i bought a sandwich, but i dropped it and stepped on it. i bought another sandwich. then i didn’t have enough money for my own lunch. at the end of the afternoon,i felt very hungry and tired. i didn’t want to see another bottle of perfume again in my life. the next morning i arrived on time…and quit!yes,i left the factory and didn’t work there any longer!
